Formal Concept Analysis(FCA)is a mathematical tool for knowledge representation and knowledge discovery. The core of FCA is mathematical and formalized description of concept, through which the deterministic common information in formal context “jointly possessed”can be reflected.Three-way Concept Analysis(3WCA),as a theory combining FCA and Three-way Decision(3WD),is an extension of FCA from semantics and formation perspectives, and can represent two kinds of deterministic common information which are“jointly possessed” and “jointly not possessed”.In conflict analysis, the conflict analysis information system not only reflects “agree”and “disagree” attitudes of the agents on each issue, but also “neutral” attitudes of the agents on each issue. The three attitudes can be regarded as three values when considering them as deterministic information, and the conflict analysis information system can also be seen as a three-valued context. This paper analyzes the three-valued contexts using FCA and 3WCA,and apply the research results to conflict analysis. The contents of this article are as follows:1.A generalized three-way operator and its inverse operator are defined in three-valued contexts, through which the generalized object induced three-way concept(GOE-concept)and generalized object induced three-way concept(GOE-concept)lattice can be obtained.Besides the relationships between GOE-concept lattice and positive concept lattice, negative concept lattice are discussed respectively.2.The applications of GOE-concept lattice in the conflict analysis are discussed, and the relationships between GOE-concept lattice and neutral concept lattice, object induced three-way approximate concept(OE-approximate concept)lattice are explored respectively, the results indicate that GOE-concepts can describe common information in conflict analysis more completely.
