The ratio of the neutron yield in 12C?d,n?13N and the proton yield in 12C?d,p?13C have been measured by deuteron beams from 0.6 MeV to 3 MeV in this work. The work contains two parts, experiment and data processing. This experiment was performed in the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics,Chi-nese Academy of Sciences. We used the deuteron beam produced by the 4 MV electro static accelerator to bombard on the thick carbon target. The neutrons were detected at 0°,24°,48° and the protons at 135° in the lab frame. The incident energies were between 0.6 MeV to 3 MeV and the energy step is 0.1 MeV.We used the data from detectors to calculate the ratio of neutron yield and proton yield. The resonance energies were found at 1.6 MeV,1.7 MeV in 12C?d,n?13N reaction. The resonance energies were found at 1.4 MeV,1.7 MeV,2.5 MeV in 12C?d,p?13C reaction. This method provides a way to reduce the systematic uncertainty and helps to confirm more resonances in compound nuclei.
