Aiming at the needs of research on the control effect of fault distance of landslide distribution, based on the concept of GIS platform and fault buffer zone, the concept and analysis method of truncating Pearson correlation coefficient were first proposed to quantitatively determine the control range and action intensity of fault distance on landslide, which greatly Avoid human nature.Compared with the traditional method, this method embodies the essence of the fault distance effect, and overcomes the humanity of determining the maximum impact range and the significant impact range of the fault zone on the distribution of landslides.Using this method, the influence of faults on the distribution of landslides in the mountainous area of Longnan was studied. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The distribution of landslides in areas with strong structures is controlled by the fault structure and shows obvious fault distance effect. The maximum fault distance of the landslide distribution is related to the intensity of regional fault activity and is controlled by the energy attenuation law of fault activity. The fit degree of landslide generating conditions plays a decisive role in the significant fault distance of landslides of different sizes.Without considering the influence of stratigraphic lithology, the larger the landslide scale, the smaller the significant fault distance.(2)In areas with strong fault activity, the structural surface is developed and has a certain strength of the rock and soil body. The fault tectonic movement can often become the main controlling factor for the development and occurrence of its upper landslide. After being affected by the movement of fault structure, the main controlling condition of landslide development is still lithology.(3)The obvious influence range of faults on landslides is greatly affected by stratigraphic lithology. The obvious influence ranges of different engineering geological rock groups are different.-The slate rock group faults have a greater influence on the landslide than other rock groups.(4)Pearson correlation analysis can provide a basis for the selection of buffer distance ?L during the establishment of fault buffers used for the statistics of geological disasters, the impact of fault buffer step ?L is analyzed, and the reasonable step distance of landslide fault effect in Longnan Mountain area is determined.?L provides a basis and reference for the selection of ?L in similar studies.
