Based on quantum entanglement technology in quantum mechanics,quantum information have brought breakthrough changes to the hardware mechanism of computers.Among many quantum computer physical systems,ion trap systems with long coherence time and long imprisonment time have become one of the systems that are highly likely to realize industrialized quantum computing.In the ion trap system,the micro surface ion trap has good scalability,and has become a popular research direction in scalable quantum computing in recent years.The micro surface ion trap includes an insulating substrate,DC electrodes,and a radio frequency electrode,which are arranged symmetrically through precision processing to realize the storage,operation and manipulation of cold ions in different regions.With the miniaturization of the structure of the well electrode,the ions are getting closer to the surface of the well electrode,and the quantum state of the ion is more affected by the fluctuation of the electric field on the surface of the electrode,resulting in the appearance of abnormal heating effects.This article mainly summarizes my related work in the micro surface ion trap,including the design and construction of a smaller surface ion trap system;laser cooling of ions,compensation of micro motion caused by Radio frequency captivity;Measurement of ion heating rate in a micro surface trap;design and potential field simulation of a probe-type ion trap.details as follows:(1)Design and construction of the micro surface ion trap system.Including the design of the surface well electrode structure and the analysis of the captive potential field,the fabrication and debugging of the captive field circuit,the manufacture and frequency stabilization of the cooling optical laser used,trapping and cooling of trapped ions.(2)Completed the measurement of ion heating rate in the new micro surface ion trap system,and analyzed the difference from the ion heating rate in the first representative surface trap.(3)Completed the design of the probe ion trap system,and calculated the potential field under different parameters.
