China is rich in tight oil resources and has achieved great success in exploration. However, due to the late start of tight oil exploration, there is little understanding about tight oil, especially the study of tight reservoir conditions is still shallow,so it is difficult to play a good guiding role in tight oil exploration at present.as a result, the exploration cost of tight oil is too high, but the production is low,so it is necessary to further study the reservoir-forming conditions of tight oil.In this paper, taking the tight reservoir of Chang 6 oil formation in Zhifang area as the research object, starting from the production practice, combined with regional geological structure and sedimentary background, based on stratigraphic division, from the point of view of sand body and reservoir, this paper makes an in-depth study on the sedimentary facies, reservoir and reservoir characteristics of the study area, and summarizes the tight oil reservoirforming conditions of the study area. The results show that Cheng 6 tight reservoir is well developed in the study area, and its reservoir-forming process is affected by oil and gas source,source-reservoir-cap assemblage, structural conditions, sedimentary facies and migration conditions. The whole study area is in the sedimentary environment of delta front subfacies,in which the main channel of Chang 62 and Chang 61 oil layers is the most developed, the sand body is thicker and the oil content is the most abundant. The study on the reservoir-forming conditions of tight oil in the study area is of great significance to the exploration and development of tight reservoirs and is beneficial to the further development of tight oil research in our country.
