Slope stability analysis and calculation slice method, such as Bishop slice method,Swedish slice method and so on,is still an important method for slope stability analysis and judgment. However, due to the assumption that the landslide body is a vertical rigid body, how to simplify and calculate the forces between the blocks, how to establish the limit equilibrium equation to calculate the minimum safety factor of the landslide body are the most important problems in various methods, and also the main reasons that affect the results of various slice methods are different. In the traditional slice method, after establishing the rigid body slice analysis model for slope stability analysis, the safety factor of each slice is equivalent to the overall safety factor. On this basis, the limit equilibrium equation is obtained to solve the minimum safety factor of slope. However, the sliding forms of slopes are various, such as traction landslide and push-forward landslide. When a sliding landslide occurs on the slope, the upper landslide body reaches the limit equilibrium state first and then destroys, which promotes the lower landslide body to slide, thus leading to the whole slope instability and failure. For this case, the traditional slice method is used to calculate the safety factor of slope stability in slope modeling and calculation. In this paper, the existing slope stability analysis methods are summarized. The traditional slice method often takes the sliding slope as a whole to calculate the safety factor in the calculation of slope stability, which has some shortcomings in the calculation of non-integral landslide stability. On the basis of slice method, the mechanical models for stability analysis of traction landslide and push landslide in non-integral landslide are established, and the corresponding calculation formulas for stability analysis of landslide are deduced. This method is an improvement of the traditional slice method,in which the analysis method of the sliding landslide is to treat the landslide as a rigid body and divide it into blocks. From top to bottom, the force analysis of the first n blocks is carried out,the limit equilibrium equation is established, and the safety factor of the first n blocks is calculated. The minimum safety factor of slope stability is determined by comparing the safety factor of the first n blocks with that of the whole slope. The analysis method of traction landslide is to calculate the safety factor of the first n blocks from bottom to top,and then compare the minimum safety factor of slope stability. On the basis of the non-holistic analysis model and analysis method, the corresponding program software SlopeS is compiled. The software allows users to construct slope model freely, and its steps are simple and easy to use.In the calculation,Swedish slice method,Bishop slice method and unbalanced thrust coefficient method of traction landslide can be freely chosen.Through case study, the results show that the minimum safety factor of slope stability calculated by traction landslide analysis method is more reasonable than that calculated by traditional slice method.the basis of traction landslide analysis model and method, the corresponding program software SlopeS is compiled. The software allows users to construct slope model freely, and its steps are simple and easy to use.In the calculation,Swedish slice method,Bishop slice method and unbalanced thrust coefficient method of traction landslide can be freely chosen.Through case study, the results show that the minimum safety factor of slope stability calculated by traction landslide analysis method is more reasonable than that calculated by traditional slice method.
