In recent years,the wave making device plays an important role in ship design,offshore platform design and other fields.It can be used to generate the desired waves to simulate the impact of the actual waves on the structure.At present,some laboratories also use wave maker to generate waves in order to simulate the transport of sediment and subsequent deposition.The project comes from a project commissioned by a certain unit: the design of wave making machine system for water wave simulation experiment.The wave making device is mainly used to generate regular waves and random waves of specified wavelength,and then simulate the influence of waves on geology.Based on the basic requirements given by the project,this paper analyzes and studies the mechanical system,control system and other major parts of the whole wave maker.Based on the design parameters of the wave maker,a numerical analysis model is established to simulate the wave making process of the wave maker.First of all,based on the actual situation of the simulation experiment pool,this paper analyzes the limitations of the existing wave height formula,and based on the assumption that the volume is constant,deduces the wave making theory of the shallow water rocking plate suitable for the experiment pool,and obtains the relationship between the wave height of the rocking plate and the installation angle of the rocking plate,and the rotation angular speed of the rocking plate under the environment of the experiment pool.Then,according to the conclusion of shallow water wave making,combined with the hydrodynamic theory,the force of water wave on the wave plate is analyzed,the threedimensional structure design of the wave making machine and the field installation of the real object are completed,and the finite element analysis of the wave plate is carried out.The results show that the wave plate meets the requirements of strength and rigidity.Then,the control system of the wave maker is studied,and the current domestic and foreign mainstream AC servo control system is used to complete the design of the simulation test pool control system.Finally,the wave forming effect of the wave making system is simulated,and the regular wave and irregular wave are simulated.The results show that the wave making machine can meet the requirements of the simulation experiment well,and further verify the correctness of the wave making theory based on the equal volume flow method.Through the research on the wave generation method of the pool,it can provide a reference for the application of the wave maker in shallow water and an important basis for the development of offshore engineering equipment.
