With our rapid economic development and progress in social science have effectively promoted the progress and development of human science and technology.At the same time,have also caused a series of environmental problems such as global warming and rising temperatures.For the past few years,it is crucial to reveal the spatial distribution pattern and dynamics of carbon storage which may provide scientific support on ecosystem carbon pools quantification and management.In the mean while,the carbon storage under different land use methods can not only reflect the production capacity of various types,but also characterize the ecosystem's carrying capacity for carbon emissions.However,most studies often use national-scale carbon density values as the main data source directly with ignoring on regional differences and imbalances which may result in inadequate assessment results at the regional scale.The Xiong'an New District is located in the central part of Hebei Province.Due to the double influence of policy regulation and human activities,the speed of land circulation is faster,and the resulting changes in ecosystem carbon sequestration are more obvious.Therefore,it is of great significance to evaluate the carbon reserves of the ecosystem in the Xiong'an New Area.Based on the land use data of Xiong'an New District in 1990,2000,2010 and 2019,combined with field surveys and literature studies,this paper established vegetation and soil carbon pools in different land types and estimated the carbon storage Changes in time and space have analyzed the carbon sequestration capacity of the Xiong'an New Area.The conclusions are as follows:(1)Use image classification to reveal the characteristics of land use change in Xiong'an New DistrictBy calculating the dynamic degree of land use and the structure transfer matrix,the characteristics of spatio-temporal changes of land use pattern in Xiong'an New District were studied.From a time perspective,the land use change in the study area generally showed a continuous increase in the area of forest land,garden land,grassland,and construction land;specifically,the increase in area was mostly forest land and construction land,and garden land and grassland did not increase much in comparison.Wetlands and cultivated land showed a downward trend as a whole.At the same time,the land use of Xiong'an New District showed a significant change in spatial distribution.Among them,the most obvious is that the forest land has been sporadicly distributed from the whole area to a concentrated continuous distribution in the northeast,while the construction land is based on the original spatial distribution,showing a phenomenon of further expansion around.(2)Use InVEST model to analyze the dynamic changes of carbon stocks in Xiong'an New DistrictBased on the land use and carbon density data of the fourth phase of the Xiong'an New District,the InVEST model was used to estimate carbon stocks,summarize their changes in time,and study their spatial changes,and divide the carbon sink area and carbon source area And carbon balance.Over the past 29 years,the carbon reserves in Xiong'an New Area have increased by 44×104MgC.Among them,the carbon stocks of cultivated land and wetland showed a decline,while the carbon stocks of forest land,garden land,grassland,and construction land were on the rise.From the perspective of spatial distribution,the spatial distribution pattern of carbon stocks has changed significantly.The most obvious is that the grid area of higher value has developed from sporadic distribution to the concentrated continuous distribution in the northeast.The results show that the carbon sequestration capacity of the Xiong'an New Area has improved.(3)Analyze the carbon sequestration capacity of terrestrial ecosystems based on the relationship between land use and carbon storage changesWhen exploring the impact of land use change on carbon sequestration,it is mainly based on the characteristics of land use change and dynamic changes of carbon storage in the study area.The results show that the carbon sequestration capacity and carbon density values of different land types show greater consistency.At the same time,the main influencing factors of carbon storage also include the mutual flow between different land types.(4)Propose ecological city land use measures according to the carbon sequestration laws of the ecosystemXiong'an New Area is still at the beginning of construction,and wetlands should be continuously restored according to relevant policies,Promote ecological restoration of native vegetation,strengthen tree planting and afforestation,and increase forest area,Reasonably control the area of construction land,innovate the protection mechanism of cultivated land,and ensure the quantity of cultivated land.Ecosystem carbon sequestration capacity is closely related to the transformation of land use methods,the mutual conversion between different land types is easy to become the main factor of carbon emissions.The Xiong'an New Area is still at the beginning of construction,and the carbon sequestration of the ecosystem is in an unstable state.It is necessary to comprehensively consider the economic benefits,ecological benefits,and social benefits to adjust the spatial planning of the Xiong'an New Area.Provide a reasonable plan for the future development of the Xiong'an New Area,and provide corresponding references for promoting the coordinated development of economy and ecology.
