Robustness and application of complex Internet represented by BA scale-free network,NW small world network and router level Internet under the condition of network attack are studied in this paper.Firstly, the topological structure model of complex Internet is established, the network load conditions are set up and the network load model is constructed. Then, the topological properties of the above complex network cases, and characteristics of the degree distribution of complex network from the perspective of power-law distribution are studied. On the basis of above researches, the network simulation environment with load is set up and the network robust characteristic attributes under the conditions of random attack, target attack and mixed attack are studied. Results of the size of the largest sub graph of the network are regarded as the quantitative identification standard.Experiment results show that scale-free network and Internet have strong robustness to random failure and strong vulnerability to target attack. For the NW small world network, the attack type is not very sensitive to the target attack on the network. For random attacks, the three networks are relatively robust at low load.As the workload increases, all three networks become vulnerable. Finally, this paper proposes a robust evaluation method based on analytic hierarchy process(AHP),which can give a quantitative explanation in the quantitative judgment of network topology robustness. This method is fully applied in some enterprises.
