Clonal integration refers to the matter and/or signal transmission between clones and changes the behavior of related clones.Cloning growth can enhance the fitness of organisms in resource-heterogeneous habitats through cloning integration, obtain abundant local resources through cloning, and selectively place the Foraging behavior of daughter plants in resource-rich microhabitats to avoid internal competition.Through physiological integration and division of labor, locally available resources can be shared in the clone plant system, thus improving the survival and growth of clone plants. Most ferns have the habit of clonal growth, especially rhizomes, but few studies have been conducted on the ecological adaptation strategies based on the integration and cloning of ferns. Therefore, this paper studies the dominant species of pteridophytes in tropical forests of Xishuangbanna as the research object, and studies its ecological adaptation strategy through clonal integration, clone division and different cloning methods,so as to reveal the ecological adaptation significance of the cloned plant pteridophytes. The research results show that:?1?The cloned ramets of B.heterocliteis alleviate the negative effects of heavy metals through physiological integration.Clonal plants can use physiological integration to cope with environmental stress,ie physiological integration under heavy metal stress enhances the performance of the sub-strains?Ramets via rhizomes,Ramets via frond-tips?.?2?When linked to a heavy metal-stressed sub-strain,clonal integration has no depletion on the parent strain(PSPAD,FV/FM>0.05),but has significant benefits for the sub-strain,so there is a net benefit to the entire clone of the two clones of B.heterocliteis?PSPAD,FV/FM<0.05?.?3?The results of heavy metal stress experiments suggest that physiological integration varies with the clonal form of B.heterocliteis under heavy metal stress, but this pattern cannot be detected by the survival and biomass of the ramets.?4?In resource heterogeneity, whether Ramets via rhizomes or Ramets via frond-tips all exhibit high quality patches of the priority allocation, that is,the emergence of a clone division. At the same time, the ramets biomass allocation pattern is characterized by the specialization for abundance of the resources within the plaques in which they are located.?5?In the shading experiment, the root-shoot ratio and Fv/Fm showed that in the homogenous environment, the sub-strains of the connected rhizomes showed a state of growing rich, and the sub-strains of the leaf-tip clones showed a state of lean growth.Among the single sub-strains that were cut,the rhizomes showed a trend of lean growth and the sub-strains of the leaf-point clones showed a state of growth, suggesting that different cloning methods affect the expression of the long-leaved fern, but whether it is It is entirely caused by cloning and further research is needed.
