The transformation of logic history begins with the Mathematicali-zation of logic.Leibniz in the 17th century is the representative of the beginning of Logical Mathematicalization, and Frege is the pioneer of mathematical logic.Leibniz and Frege both pursued truth. The difference is that Leibniz pursues the truth of ontology and reasoning, while Frege only pursues the truth of reasoning.Leibniz tried to synthesize traditional ontology and methodology in his understanding of the essence of logic and number. He tries to find the relationship between logic and number from level of ontology and methodology.Frege inherited Leibniz's methodology. His understanding of the nature of logic, number and the relationship between logic and number was at the methodological level. Therefore,Frege established the relationship between logic and number at the methodological level. On the basis of inheriting Leibniz's methodology,Frege improved his specific methods.Firstly,Frege thinked that Leibniz's scope of logical mathematicization was too large.Frege chosed to restrict it,starting from one or several fields and then gradually expanding it.Secondly,Leibniz's symbol and entity correspond.Frege changed the logical premise from entity to relation, introduced new symbols to express "deduce",and created symbols to express "identity".Thirdly,Leibniz followed the traditional logical structure of concept, judgment and reasoning, while Frege went directly from judgment analysis to the relationship between judgment and judgment, that is,the study of reasoning.Fourthly,Leibniz's logic is the subject-predicate logic.Frege establishes the predicate logic calculus system by introducing functions and self-variables.Under the influence of Leibniz,Frege becomes the founder of mathematical logic.Logicians develope modem logic further along Frege's route.
