With the continuous development of marine resources,the monitoring of marine environment is particularly critical.Wave is one of the main elements of ocean observation.In recent years,a variety of wave observation methods and technologies have been developed and applied.Among them,the wave measurement buoy has the characteristics of direct observation,accurate measurement,all-weather,and occupies the main position in various wave observation methods.The traditional wave buoy has many disadvantages,such as large volume,complex transportation process and so on.The buoy needs to be shiped to the target sea area with the help of the ship,which needs more manpower in the process of transportation and delivery.It will greatly increase the risk of staffs during working if it encounters bad sea conditions or studies the extreme marine environment.Therefore,a new type of wave measurement buoy is explored and designed to change the way of buoy transportation and delivery,reduce the frequency of researchers going to sea and reduce the risk of offshore operation.Taking the shape and function of the wave buoy as the research object,a wave measurement buoy without parachute which can be carried by the UAV is designed in this paper.The calculation model of buoy roll under different shapes and sizes is established through the theoretical modeling analysis of buoys under the wave excitation,which determines the cylindrical shape and scale of the buoy.At the same time,the wave measuring circuit of the buoy is designed,mainly for data collection and transmission functions,and the main structure of buoy and the structure of air-brake flap are designed.The falling motion of buoy is simulated by analyzing air drag coefficients under different opening angles of air-brake flap.So,the load strength of key parts and velocity of water entry is calculated.In addition,according to the frequency domain attenuation integral algorithm,the corresponding wave measurement algorithm is proposed.On the basis of theoretical analysis,structural design and algorithm research,the multi-functional flume simulation experiment and marine test were carried out to verify the motion state and working performance of buoy.The test results show that the buoy works stably and the accuracy of wave measurement meets the wave measurement standard.In this paper,a new type of air-launched wave buoy is designed to provide theoretical and technical support for the development of other types of wave buoy.
