With the deep research on optics,it has been found that polarization plays an important role in optics.Research on polarization has become a hot topic.During this time,various polarization detection devices have been developed for military detection,medical inspection and other fields.Among them,the division of focal plane(DoFP)polarimeter has attracted many researchers' attention due to its compact structure and high integration.Multi-dimensional information such as intensity information and polarization information can be acquired simultaneously using the DoFP polarimeter,which can be used to assist the detection.At present,the DoFP polarimeter manufactured by the research mostly integrates the polarization grating array with the detector,however due to the different requirements in the actual application scenario,different detector components are often required,so we design a modular DoFP polarimeter.In the real application,the polarization detection system needs to use different combinations of detectors to meet its requirements.For this reason,this paper proposes to use the relay lens to realize the separation of the micro polarization array(MPA)and the detector,thus achieving modular combination.Thus,by selecting different modular combinations according to different applicationo to achieve the desired effect.Firstly,according to the goal of this paper,we choose reasonable devicees to build the modular DoFP polarimeter.At the same time,we design a corresponding software system,and use the software system combined with the DoFP polarimeter to obtain polarization information in real time.Then,in order to obtain accurate polarization information,the corresponding algorithm is designed to calibrated the system designed in this paper.At the same time,to verify the accuracy of the polarization information obtained by the system designed in this paper,testes are carried out using the precision turntable.The test results show that the degree of linear polarization(DoLP)deviation is within 1.5%,and the angle of polarization(AoP)deviation is within 0.2°,which satisfies the polarization detection and measurement requirements.Finally,a series of indoor and outdoor experiments are carried out using the modular DoFP system in this paper.Through the experimental results indoors and outdoors,it can be known that the modular DoFP system designed in this paper can obtain the intensity and the polarization information except the traditional information obtained by traditional ways.Multi-dimensional information such as polarization information can be obtained in real time using modular DoFP system.At the same time,tests show this system can accurately measure the polarization information,which meets the needs of current probing measurements.
