In recent years,the study of carbonate fracture-cavity reservoirs has become very popular.Because of the highly heterogeneous of carbonate fractured-cavity reservoirs,the seismic modeling part of most commercial software is based on layered media or equivalent media,which cannot truly reflect the actual non-uniform medium underground.We can hardly simulate the real wavefield characteristics by using this model for seismic forward modeling.This paper introduces a random media modeling method based on statistical theory and develops a software for high-precision seismic forward modeling that can finely describe the local heterogeneity of complex geologic bodies.This paper also implements the module for acousitic wave forward modeling based on high-order staggered-grid finite difference method for acoustic wave equations.Finally,this paper also uses the modeling module of our software and commercial software to analyze the wave field characteristics of the carbonate fracture model and get a good result which further illustrated that the random medium seismic modeling and forward modeling method established in this paper is feasible and can effectively guide the interpretation of actual work.
