Color change can affect the brain's decision-making cognition by making a physiological change in the brain through the visual system. The brain has different sensitivity to color reaction, and the incubation period and amplitude of EEG composition are also significantly different.Event-related potential(ERP)technology has the advantages of noninvasive and high temporal resolution, and is a simple and feasible method to study the brain cognitive process.ERP technique is used in this thesis to study the relationship between color and decision cognition function. In this thesis, the experiment is designed to collect the ERP signals under different colors stimulations, and 20 subjects are asked to make corresponding decision. The collected signals are preprocessed firstly, and the differences of ERP waveform in response to different colors are observed.ERP data for different decisions are analyzed, and the results show that the positive decision of the ERP is longer than the negative one.The positive decision will lead to the extension of the late ERP component P300 and the amplitude increase. The results show that the subjects need to mobilize more brain resources while making positive decisions and the brain is more focused. For negative decision-making,the brain's cognitive nerve conduction is more sensitive and faster, and the incubation period is shorter.Furthermore, the features of P300 latency and amplitude of color stimulation are studied, the results show that P300 component is widely appeared in scalp electrodes,of which the maximum amplitude appearing in the parietal lobe area, the less in the central brain regions, and the minimum in frontal area. The incubation period of the induced P300 components of white stimulation is significantly shorter than that of other colors, and the amplitude is the maximum compared with other color stimulations. In the study of the effects of color stimulations on brain regions, the P300 component has a higher level of significance in the left hemisphere of the brain and shows an advantage. The effects of different colors on the cognitive function of human brain decision-making are studied to provide a basis for exploring the mechanism of the brain in processing color visual information.
