Today,dual-wavelength Q-switched lasers are widely used in the fields of technology,medical,imaging,communication,detection,and processing.However,the existing dual-wavelength Q-switched lasers mainly rely on passive Q-switching and acousto-optic Q-switching.The electro-optic Q-switched dual-wavelength laser is also dominated by single-edge Q-switching,and most of the dual-wavelength Q-switched lasers use a laser gain medium.There is gain competition between the two wavelengths,so it is difficult to increase the laser output power.In view of the above problems,this paper proposes a technical scheme based on electro-optical Q-switched dual-wavelength alternate output laser,and carries out a series of theoretical analysis,laser design and experimental research.Theoretically,the theoretical analysis of the structure and working principle of the electro-optic Q-switched dual-wavelength alternate output laser is firstly carried out to determine the laser operation mode.Then,according to the electro-optic Q-switching theory,an electro-optic Q-switched dual-wavelength alternate output laser model is established.Based on this,the laser output simulation is performed according to the laser model.The laser design mainly consists of laser cavity design,laser pump head design and laser driver circuit design.The cavity design calculates the laser cavity parameters by using the ABCD matrix by analyzing the thermal effects and thermal stability of the laser.The pump head design analyzes the thermal deformation of the laser crystal and performs a concentrating cavity design.The laser driver circuit design mainly includes the control module,pump source and Q switch design.The Q switch skillfully combines the boost electro-optic Q-switching with the buck-type electro-optic Q-switching,so that each pair of Q-switched crystals is applied with a width of 200?s.Q-switched pulses,1319 nm and 1064 nm lasers can alternate Q-switch output.The experimental research mainly carried out 1319 nm single-wavelength Q-switched output experiment,1064 nm single-wavelength Q-switched output experiment and 1319 nm &1064nm dual-wavelength alternate Q-switched output experiment.In the final experiment,the laser uses a dual Nd:YAG laser crystal to achieve coaxial output of 1319 nm and 1064 nm lasers;when the laser single wavelength is operated separately,the output energy of the two different wavelength lasers increases with the pump source current;the laser realizes double The wavelength was alternately adjusted to Q output,and experiments with re-frequency of 5Hz,10 Hz,and 20 Hz were performed.By investigating domestic and foreign papers,this electro-optic Q-switched dual-wavelength alternate output laser is the first in China to achieve dual-wavelength alternate coaxial output by double-edge electro-optical Q-switching with single electro-optical crystal.
