The price of Notholirion bulbuliferum increased due to the prominent role in health care and diseases treatment.The interferences which wild N.bulbuliferum resources were over-excavated seriously threatened the growth of N.bulbuliferum.It was necessary to explore the suitable environment to protect and artificially cultivate N.bulbuliferum.In this paper,the populations of N.bulbuliferum located at different altitudes on the north and south Taibai Mountain were investigated to explore the species composition,species diversity,relationship between dominant species and growth situation of N.bulbuliferums.Then the influence of various indicators of the community was comprehensive analyzed.The results showed as followed:(1)N.bulbuliferum community located at Taibai Mountain was rich in plant resources:79 species of plants were found,belonging to 58 genuses,29 families.The dominant phenomenon of family in N.bulbuliferum community was obvious,while dominant phenomenon of genus was not obvious.The distribution type of dominant genus in N.bulbuliferum communities on the both north and south of Taibai Mountain were temperate distribution type.The sedge plants were the main type in N.bulbuliferum community.Carex capilliformis was the most abundant in north Taibai Mountain,while Carex filamentosa(20.09%),Carex schneideri(15.28%)and Carex kwangtoushanica(12.99%)were dominated in the south of Taibai Mountain.As a whole,16 species in N.bulbuliferum community had a significant correlation with each other.N.bulbuliferum was strong significant positive correlated with Heracleum hemsleyanum,and was significant positive correlated with C.filamentosa,but was significant negative correlated with Roegneria kamoji.(2)In the north and south Taibai Taibai Mountain of N.bulbuliferum community along different altitude gradient,Simpson index(0.63-0.92),Shannon-Wiener index(2.11-3.71),Pielou evenness index(0.61-0.95),Brillouin index(1.92-3.39),McIntosh index(0.43-0.78)has a significant differences,while the species richness(9-15)showed no significance.On the north of Taibai Mountain,the species diversity of N.bulbuliferum in the lower altitude was higher.The trend of species diversity on the south of Taibai Mountain was opposite to that of the North,which meant the species diversity increased with the elevation.(3)The growth of N.bulbuliferum had a significant difference between the north and the south of Taibai Mountain.The N.bulbuliferum on the north of Taibai Mountain was dominated by two leaves(90.6%),and a small number of that had three leaves,but more than three leaves of N.bulbuliferum were not found.On the south of Taibai Mountain,N.bulbuliferum contained 2-6 leaves,and 2 leaves and 3 leaves were dominant groups.The single plant yield of N.bulbuliferum increased with the increasing number of leaves,and it showed a significantly linear correlation trend(Y=10.3X-17,R~2=0.9852).In addition to plant height,the growth of N.bulbuliferum was significantly different on the different elevation,north and south of Taibai Mountain.Overall,the N.bulbuliferum community on the south of Taibai Mountain was growing better than the north.On the north of Taibai Mountain,the number of leaves in the low-altitude area was significantly higher than that in the high-altitude area.While on the south of Taibai Mountain,the trend of leaves number of N.bulbuliferum community was entirely opposite,indicating that the number of leaves in high-altitude areas was significantly higher than that in low-altitude areas.The single plant yield per plant of N.bulbuliferum on the south of Taibai Mountain showed a trend of decreasing first and then increasing with latitude.(4)After the analysis of statistical methods,altitude had a significant influence on the important values of species dominant species,species diversity and growth of N.bulbuliferum,these three indexes had a significantly regular change along with altitude changes;while the slope direction also had significant effects on species diversity indexes of N.bulbuliferum community,six indexes had a significant difference between the north and south of Tabai Mountain;although the Simpson(J)of community had no significant effects on the growth of N.bulbuliferum,that index had the largest influence on the growth of N.bulbuliferum.
