Sedimentary Types And Distribution Patterns Of The Great Campos Basin

The great campos basin is one of the most promising basins in the west bank of the south Atlantic.On the basis of previous studies,this paper analyzes regional tectonic background and tectonic movement,and makes structural zoning of salt and subsalt strata respectively.In sedimentary petrology,sequence stratigraphy,seismic stratigraphy and logging geology,under the guidance of theory in seismic facies analysis as the main body,through the identification of sequence interface research division,10 secondary sequence,and choose four representative study on sedimentary facies sequence.Combined with the rock type,sedimentary structure and log curves,the research area is defined in the development of delta,lake,lake bay,biological reef and biological beach facies.Salt in no drilling area,using seismic line control and forecast the distribution of sedimentary facies,in deepwater turbidite facies sedimentary background,the further divided into 4 types of the phase and 6 kinds of microfacies.Mapped the single well facies,even well facies and the plane phase diagram,has been clear about the kinds of plane distribution of sedimentary facies in the study area,such as the lacustrine carbonate rocks throughout paleostructural high position of the central basin,deep water turbidite facies distribution and the steep continental shelf.All these provide geological basis for further exploration and development of the research area.
