In greenhouse planting technology,light management plays an important role in improving plant growth efficiency.Increasing far-red light in plant illumination can promote the growth of crops,so it is of great significance to study the far-red phosphors used in plant illumination.In this study,two kinds of polycrystalline powders Cr3+:Ga2O3?Cr:Ga2O3?and Cr3+:Y3Ga5O12?abbreviation for:Cr:YGG?were synthesized by sol-gel combustion method with Ga2O3,Y2O3,Cr?NO3?3·9H2O as raw materials and citric acid as complexing agent.The X-ray diffraction?XRD?,infrared spectroscopy?IR?,scanning electron microscopy?SEM?and fluorescence spectroscopy?PL?were used to test and analyze the structure,composition,morphology and fluorescence performance of the powders.XRD and IR showed that the optimal calcination temperature of two phosphor material?Cr:YGG and Cr:Ga2O3?was 900?;SEM photographs showed that the morphology of the Ga2O3 sample was cylindrical polyhedron,and the morphology of the Cr:YGG powder was in the shape of short rod,both of two phosphor powders had agglomeration.The emission peak of two powders observed at 740nm and 742nm is identified as due to 2E-4A2 transition from Cr3+ions.The results showed that the fluorescence emission intensity of Cr:YGG was higher,the emission peak wavelength region is suitable for photosynthesis in plants.
