CdSe nanorods can apply in the field of photovoltaic devices and biomedical due to their adjustable morphology and good dimensional uniformity.In low-dimensional nanomaterials,CdSe nanorods have high fluorescence intensity and large dipole moment,which makes it have great application potential in the field of polarization detection and polarization devices.In this paper,the work of optical characterization and polarization properties of CdSe nanorods were carried out.The main results obtained are as follows:?1?CdSe nanorods with adjustable morphology and uniform size were obtained by oil phase preparation.It was found that only the percentage content of tetradecylphosphoric acid in the precursor liquid was changed which can adjusted the absorption and emission characteristics of nanorods?2?The fluorescence stability of CdSe nanorods was improved by surface modification of SiO2 The results show that the fluorescence degradation rate of CdSe nanorods without SiO2 modification is reduced to 10%after UV irradiation for 20 minutes.But under the same conditions the fluorescence degradation rate can be increased to 80%after SiO2modification.The improved stability of nanorods laid the foundation for the analysis of polarization optical properties.?3?The polarization selection characteristics and polarization luminescence properties of CdSe nanorods with different aspect ratios were studied.Experiments show that CdSe nanorods with a length to diameter ratio of 5:1 are the most obvious for the selective absorption of incident polarized light,which is beneficial for applications such as polarizing films.
