The uniform discharge mode of dielectric barrier discharge is widely used in industrial production,so its uniformity identification has important research value.The visible light discharge image contains rich spatial chromaticity and morphological information,and the long exposure time can reflect the statistical law of discharge,but the existing research rarely applies it to the detection of discharge uniformity.Based on the morphology and chromaticity characteristics of the visible light image,the uniformity of dielectric barrier discharge in different gases is studied.The specific results obtained are as follows:Based on the RGB component image of visible light,the discharge modes of filamentary discharge and uniform discharge in dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)are studied by means of RGB-GLH,calculation of the shortest distance between adjacent discharge points and Fourier spectrum analysis.The indices for dividing discharge uniformity based on blue component are proposed: 1)It is found that the change rule of RGB-GLH and T-GLH is the same,but the average gray level of B-GLH is larger,which is helpful to eliminate the influence of noise.2)A criterion for dividing the discharge uniformity is proposed according to the degree of the B-GLH shape approaching the normal distribution,and a threshold segmentation method is proposed to extract the discharge area,and the criterion for dividing the discharge uniformity is based on the degree of the average shortest discharge distance approaching zero at the adjacent discharge points.3)Based on the Fourier spectrum analysis of B-component diagram,the glow-like discharge phenomena in atmospheric argon are effectively identified.The above results are consistent with the existing cognition,which indicates that the research method is feasible.By converting RGB color space of visible image into HSI color space model,it is found that hue H is not affected by exposure time.The variation coefficient of H is proposed as an index of discharge uniformity.The results show that the order of uniformity of DBD is low pressure air(more uniform)? atmospheric pressure argon > atmospheric pressure nitrogen > atmospheric pressure air,which accords with the existing knowledge and shows that this method is feasible.According to the research method of converting the measurement results of visible region emission spectrum into CIE 1931 XYZ standard chroma system,the relationship between dielectric barrier discharge emission spectrum and visible image chroma index is established,and the correlation between micro physical radiation and macro physical quantity is realized.The rotational temperature(gas temperature)of nitrogen is calculated by emission spectra in visible region.According to the energy surface density of different discharge modes,the identification criterion of discharge uniformity is proposed when the temperature of nitrogen gas is smaller.This paper explains the phenomenon that the order of uniformity degree of dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)dominated by nitrogen is low pressure air(more uniform)> atmospheric pressure nitrogen(atmospheric pressure nitrogen)> atmospheric pressure air.
