As urbanization continues,the contradiction between the scarce land resources of cities and the growing population increases,The increase of the floor area ratio of urban residential district seriously affects the vital interests of the residents,and also hinders the sustainable development of the city.How to get the floor area ratio of a certain area quickly and accurately is of great importance to urban planning and construction.This paper selects ZhangJiakou as the research area,and using the PLEIADES stereo for satellite remote sensing of 2017 as data sources,using pixel factory to produce nDSM image,and combined with street view and methods of mathematical statistics,to calculate and validate the study area floor area ratio.According to the research area of building type combines nDSM image characteristic,research area can be divided into three categories: medium-high level,low and density construction,industrial and mining warehouse buildings.This paper uses the different calculation methods to obtain floor area ratio: Medium-high level building use programming to directly calculate the building area and the number of layers,low and density building directly estimate floor and get the floor area ratio,industrial and mining warehouse class building floor area ratio is obtained by using the object-oriented combined with single building standards.In the calculation.,selected the medium-high level construction results to show samples.In the process of calculation,the sample of medium-high level buildings is selected to verify the results.using street view instead of on-the-spot investigation as a means of accuracy test,the accuracy reached above 90%.In this way,summarize a set of technical processes for urban rapid calculation of floor area ratio.The main results are as follows:(1)According to the different characteristics of urban construction,the study area is divided into three categories: medium-high level,low and density construction,industrial and mining warehouse buildings.Different methods were used to calculate the floor area rate and the vertical characteristics of the building area were analyzed by combining the floor data.(2)In this paper,a method to calculate the floor area rate using PLEIADES high resolution satellite stereo image is developed,the precision meets the requirements completely.Through the value of the floor area rate,the residential suitability,traffic environment and future planning of various construction areas are analyzed.(3)Through the value of the floor area rate,we analyzed the residential suitability,traffic environment and future planning of various construction areas.On the basis of this,this paper put forward the rationality of building layout and the proposal of future planning.The effect of this method in the medium-high level area has higher precision and efficiency than the shadow area method and the shadow length method.It can play an important role in the urban and rural planning,and provide technical guidance and decision-making basis for government urban planning at all levels..
