In recent years,due to the fast development of satellite remote sensing technology,the obtained ocean data has surged.And the data amount of wind and wave also reaches TB level,wind and wave elements has an important impact on ships and offshore platforms and the construction and operation of the port.So how to store,manage and use the wind and wave data for human needs to be solved.In engineering applications,it is generally considered that the wind and wave data that measured by instruments such as sensors and measuring instruments are relatively reliable and accurate,they have reference value to engineering applications.In view of the above problems,this paper uses database technology to store and manage windwave data,and by measured data to assimilate data from the European Medium Term Weather Forecast Center(ECMWF),and statistically analysis those assimilation data.The main research contents are as follows:Develop the global wind and wave database.Firstly,introduce the Oracle database system used in the global wind and wave database.And convert the original data of the wind wave,and the data structure of the table is designed according to the converted format.Secondly,the database is divided into a software module,a data query module,and a data update module,and achieve the required functionality.Finally,the global wind and wave database was built through key technologies.Propose a high-precision dimensionality reduction data assimilation method for assimilation of ECMWF data.Firstly,to analyze the principles and interpolation results of three interpolation algorithms: Lagrangian interpolation,piecewise linear interpolation and inverse distance weighted interpolation.The results show that the inverse distance weighted interpolation method is more suitable for high-precision dimensionality reduction data assimilation.;secondly,to use the inverse distance interpolation algorithm and the mapping operator for data assimilation,and to theoretically verify and error analysis those assimilation results.Then,to verify the assimilation results of the high-precision dimensionality data assimilation by the assimilation result of the optimal interpolation assimilation.Verification shows that high-precision dimensionality reduction data assimilation is feasible;finally,to import assimilated data into the database,and replace the data in the assimilation region,in order to update the data.Statistically analyze the characteristics of the waves in the Persian Gulf.The wave height and wind speed data of the Persian Gulf from 2012 to 2013 were obtained through data assimilation,and statistical analysis was carried out.Firstly,using the Surfer software to plot the quarterly mean and extreme distribution of wind speed and wave height in the Persian Gulf;secondly,to use the VBA language to draw the wind speed and wave height of annual rose map of the Persian Gulf for representative cities Dubai,Doha,Kuwait in Excel2013;Finally,to analyze the characteristics of wind and waves in the Persian Gulf and its representative cities by quarterly mean,extreme value distribution and annual rose diagram.The results show that the establishment of global wind and wave database system can improve the efficiency of data management,reduce the redundancy of data,and facilitate the use and update for users.The results of high-precision dimensionality assimilation are verified by the results of optimal interpolation assimilation,indicating that high The accuracy reduction dimension data assimilation method is feasible;after assimilation,the time precision of the wind-wave data can be increased to 1 hour,and the space precision can be increased to 0.25 degreed.The average absolute error and the root mean square error are both reduced.The closest point of the assimilation area to the measured point is most affected by the measured point.After the assimilation,the data value is close to the measured point value.Conversely,the point farthest from the measured point is less affected by the measured point,and the value changes is very small;from statistical analysis,the effective wave height and wind speed distribution of the Persian Gulf from 2012 to 2013 is large in the central region,the mean and the extreme values of the effective wave height and wind speed are reduced to both sides,and the effective wave height is the maximum.2.95 m,the maximum wind speed is 15 m / s.The direction of strong waves in Dubai,Duha and Kuwait is consistent with the direction of strong wind direction,and the direction of strong waves is determined by the direction of strong wind direction.
