Energy is the source power of economic development and the material basis for hu-man survival.Energy issue is a topic of common concern for China and other countries in the world.This paper takes two types of energy systems as research objects.First-ly,the research analyzes the evolution of China's energy structure,makes short-term prediction.Secondly,the paper researches the chaos control problem of a kind of time-delay resource-economy-pollution system.Research results benefit for coordinating the relationship among resources,economy and environment and realizing sustainable development.Firstly,the research analysis the evolution of China's energy structure by dynam-ical model.This paper establishes the dynamical model of China's energy structure,based on exploration for characteristics of China's energy structure.The model inte-grates all energy forms into an energy structure vector considering the time-varying property of each element of energy structure.Considering the various impacts of en-ergy market and energy policy in China,the research judges the possible critical value of each energy structure factor in the model,and then analyzes the evolution of each energy structure.Results show that there is critical value in the coal and oil models,while others energy models evolve in a relatively smooth way.The research makes a short-term prediction of China's energy structure using dynamical model.Prediction re-sults show that the portion of coal in the energy consumption structure would decrease to 56.50%in 2020,and the portion of hydroelectricity and other energy would go up to 15.9%.It is inferred that China have achieved its goal of energy structure adjustment at the end of 2020.Secondly,the paper studies the chaos control problem of a kind of resource-economy-pollution system considering the close relationship among resource,pollution,and economic growth.In view of the adverse effects of chaotic phenomena on the economy,the time delay and feedback strength are used to achieve chaotic control.The research takes delayed and feedback strength as variables to analyze dynamic behavior.Then studies the local stability,the existence of Hopf bifurcation and the range of values of and under four different conditions.The research show that when two terms take values in the corresponding stable region,the system is stabilized to the equilibrium point,when two terms take values in the unstable region,the system will lose stability gradually,and then become periodic state.A new chaotic attractor appears.
