In order to achieve the observation and research the temperature and the speed of wind of MLT(Mesosphere and Lower Thermosphere,60-120km)on the middle and upper atmosphere at the same time, our team proposes a GBA?(ground based airglow imaging interferometer)to implement the simultaneous measurement of temperature and wind in MLT region.According to this detection principle,we ultimately select a group of lines emitted from O2(0-1)band at 94±3 km with the wavelength range of 865.2?867.9 nm as the source. While a narrow band filter with the center wavelength of 867.79 nm and the full width at half maximum of 0.28 nm is determined. We detected the temperature and the speed of wind at the range of 90-100km.In order to calculate accurately the GBAII detection precision, the study of volume emission rate is very important. This thesis mainly discusses the airglow O2(0-1)volume emission rate in theoretical and experimental. The main contents are as follows:1.According to the Barth mechanism, the formula of airglow O2(0-1)with 867.7 nm volume emission rate is derived and the other related physical quantities theoretically. The value of volume emission rate O2(0-1)calculated at the altitude 94 km is 4041 photons cm-3 s-1,and the distribution profile of O2(0-1)volume emission rate is obtained by MATLAB programming fitting.2.Further,the profile of airglow intensity is obtained by MATLAB programming fitting with the height increasing, about above 75 km to 95 km,the intensity airglow of O2(0-1)867.7 nm with increasing gradually,at the 94 km basic convergence. Its value is equal to about 6000R and provides a theoretical basis for GBAII experimental detection.3.The atmospheric transmittance of airglow O2(0-1)867.7 nm has been studied and calculated, the value of it 0.24 in theory, the number of photons transport to the ground is equal to volume emission rate(VER)multiplying the atmospheric transmission, which can transport the ground 970 photons cm-3 s-1 in theory.4.By improving GBAII individual devices, the experimental results we got 887 photons cm-3 s-1 and 928photons cm-3 s-1 the before and after, respectively, and the relative error of two experiments from 8.5%improve to 4.3%.GBA? being improved measurement error is close to the HRDI(high-resolution Doppler imager)measurement error of 3%.
