Characteristics Of Geochemistry In The Early Permian Coals From Suntong Mine,Huaibei

The paper base on the theoretical knowledge of anthracology,petrology,mineralogy,geochemistry and other subjects related to the geological study,and in the meantime resorts to the optical microscope,low temperature ashing?LTA?,X-ray diffraction?XRD?,X-ray fluorescence spectrometry?XRF?and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry?ICP-MS?,such various analytical and testing techniques,to conduct a detailed study in anthracology,petrology and geochemistry of Early Permian coal-bearing strata in Suntong,Huaibei.In this search,we found that the Suntong coal features low in sulfur and medium in volatile matter,the percentage of sulfur content less than 1%.Also,the major composition of Suntong coal under the microscope is vitrinite,followed by inertinite.Other compositions are rare.The ratio of SiO₂ and Al₂O₃ in the coals are always larger than the theoretical ratio?1.18?,which means there are part quantities of quartz in the coal.At the same time,X-ray diffraction tests have confirmed the minerals in the coals are rich in kaolinite,quartz and calcite,accompanied by anatase and dolomite found within.Suntong NO.8 coal is rich in the trace elements V and Cu,,depletion in elements like Zn?Ge?Cd?Tl and Bi;NO.10 coal not only lower then NO.8 coal in elements concentration but also show no distinct rich in the trace elements,and depletion in Li?Zn?Ge?Rb?Mo?Cd?Sb?Cs?Eu?Ho?Tm?Tl and Bi.The characteristic of trace elements implies the sedimentary environment rich in oxygen.The REY in NO.8 coal is between 47.46?g/g and 451.70?g/g,average is 160.32?g/g.And in NO.10 coal the REYcontent is between 54.89?g/g and 197.73?g/g,average is85.54?g/g.Both REY distribution pattern in Suntong coal is L-ype.Eu show negative or no negative,sugest it might have influenced granide in souce region.Ce show weak negative anomaly character,it might have influenced of souce region and sea water.
