With the increasing of retired offshore jacket platform,the removal of waste jacket will become a new industry in ocean engineering.Except for a wide range of technologies being involved in the removal of the jacket,it is also constrained by numerous factors such as economy and technology,safety and environment.In addition,due to the overall structure of the jacket being greatly weakened and destroyed during the service period,it tends to come across an accident in the process of dismantling.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out a detailed analysis and research on the whole process of removing the jacket.In this article,the dominant problem of the removal of the jacket as well as its solution is mainly studied.By studying the gradual application of the airbag in the removal of the jacket,it helps the jacket get rid of the dependence on the large floating crane and become more economic.By studying and analyzing the design selection of the auxiliary airbag,the lashing fixed way as well as the airbag floatation unit composed of the rigid frame and the soft airbag worked out.Moreover,ANSYS software was also used to analyze the stability of the airfoil-assisted floatation jackets in the process of demolition.Based on the fluid-solid coupling ALE algorithm and the application of dynamic finite element software LS-DYNA to numerically simulate airfoil-assisted floatation jackets,the attitude change data of turning process will be obtained.The conclusion drawn from the research will provide theoretical basis for the future research and engineering practice.
