Magnetic targeting drug delivery is an effective method carrying the drug with magnetic nanoparticles to help the drug gather at the target location inside physical body under applied magnetic field.The ferrofluid was chosen as drug carrier in magnetic targeting drug delivery,which consists of Fe3O4 particles covered by polysaccharide or protein to prevent the gather of Fe3O4 particles,and water in view of the environment inside the body.There has been lots of simulation methods of magnetic targeting drug delivery method,but a mesoscopic simulation method between macro and micro was demanded in this research,the reason is blood-flows pass through cardinal vein and blood capillary inside body,and this movement includes macroscopic and microscopic processes.The lattice Boltzmann method(LBM)is right belongs to mesoscopic simulation method and which is fit to simulate complex fluid with high viscosity,so which was chosen as the simulation method in this research.There will be a series of solid convex structure appeared on the fluid surface in order and grows along the direction of the magnetic field if the ferro:fluid was put in the applied magnetic field.The phase transition of ferrofluid will have a useful effect on the methods of starving tumor cells and drug-delivery ways at the target location in the magnetic targeting drug delivery method.The simulation of the phase transition of ferrofluid in magnetic targeting drug delivery based on the lattice Boltzmann method includes the following contents:?The density-distribution of ferrofluid without applied magnetic field was simulated in D3Q19 model based on the lattice Boltzmann method,and the outcome of simulation was compared with the structure of ferrofluid in practise.?In order to observe the effect of applied magnetic field on the ferrofluid,the single fluid was simulated to observe the phase separation process of the ferrofluid under the magnetic field.? The force analysis of binary fluid under magnetic field was been deduced under applied magnetic field in D3Q19 model.To sum up,this research will provide a useful reference to targeting drug delivery method in cancer treatment.
