With the development of electronic vacuum devices,the study's orientation of EID has two categories:a category is pursuing the operating frequency of the device to a higher level,the other category is making studies of a new working principle.EID has the slow wave resonance system so that it has some charcateristics like small size,light weight,huge bandwidth and high power.The EID's working frequency had reached the terahertz band.The main study of EID is how to achieve good results,such as,high-output power,well wave-injection interaction efficiency.As the operating frequency of the device is increasing,the size of EID will become smaller and smaller so that the difficutly of making devices will be harder.On the other hand,the development of microfabrication has been promoted.The study is based on the high-frequency structure of W-band EIO.Firstly,I has analyzed some theoreticals of the high-frequency structure.Secondly,I has designed a EIO's high-frequency which works at 93.2GHz by CST softwave.The last,I has confirmed the material of the perturbator by referring to the cold cavity simulation results.The works of this study:1)The theories of EIO'high-frequency structure has been studied.Designing a EIO's high-frequency structure which works at 94 GHz by CST softwave.Making cold cavity simulation by time domain solver to get S111 parameters.Making cold cavity simulation by eigenmode solver to get the working frequency of 2?model and the field strength curve of the z-axis.In order to make reaschs of the influence of each structures,I has made cold cavity simulation many times.I setted the working voltage as 17.6kV and the current as 0.6A.Then,the result of PIC shows that the structure's output power is566W.2)The cold cavity simulation of EIO'high-frequency structure was carried out by CST software.According to the perturbation method,the size of the perturbators were deteminded.Then,I has analyzed the feasibility of the experimental scheme by CST softwave.3)The cold testing experiment:The S11 parameters of EIO are tested by vector network analyzer so as to obtain the frequency deviation curve.Then,I can get the field strength curve of the z-axis by the frequency perturbation formula.In the experiment,it is necessary to control the position of the perturbulator in the high-frequency structure so that I used the translation units to control the perturbation module.
