With the increase of aging population in the world,more and more elderly people are suffering from brain function diseases.The common feature of brain function diseases is that the function of the neural circuit in a certain part of the brain collapses and fails,which leads to cognitive,behavioral,and speech disorders.Because of the special aetiology and the inherent limitations of existing treatments,the research of brain functional disease therapy progressed slowly.Low Level Light Therapy(LLLT)is a noninvasive,painless,convenient,and inexpensive treatment method that receives great attention.This method acts directly on the cells,promotes the respiration of the cells,speeds up the renewal of the cells,and may awaken the neural circuit that has collapsed and failed.So,it is an effective attempt to apply LLLT to brain functional diseases,which can promote the development of LLLT in the treatment of brain functional diseases.This study,which is based on LLLT,introduces you how to design and develop a treatment system of LLLT on brain function disease.This system can emit specific energy and frequency light in the whole brain or a specific part of the brain according to the user's choice.This paper first introduces the current situation of brain functional diseases and the therapeutic effect of existing treatment methods.According to the literature,the principle of low energy light therapy is summarized.This paper expounds the feasibility of using LLLT to treat brain functional diseases technically.Then,Monte Carlo simulation method is used to simulate the trajectory of photons in the human head,so as to optimize the simulation scheme of LLLT in brain function diseases.This paper second introduce the hardware and software of the stimulation system and the monitor system.For the hardware part,according to the different functions,this part can be divided into logic module,digital-to-analog conversion module and constant current source power driver module,which are independent of each other and transmit signals through wires.For the software part,it can also be divided into two parts according to the different functions,the interface part and the background operation part.These two parts are respectively completed by one separate thread,and the threads transmit information through global variables.In order to ensure that the system can achieve the best operating state,this study also designs an external support system.After being designed system,this paper designs a series of tests to test the performance of the system,including the functional and stability test of the system,the test of the external support system.These tests verify the accuracy and stability of the system.Human experiments have shown that low-energy light stimulation can effectively increase blood flow and oxygen consumption of tissues.The experiments show that the system is effective and safe.These experimental results demonstrate the great potential of low energy light therapy in the stimulation treatment of brain functional diseases.
