The Chaganmu area in Chifeng City,Inner Mongolia,is located in the contact area between the Early Paleozoic epicontinental accretional marginal belt in the north continental margin of the North China plate and the North China Platform.After the Variscian Movement and the middle and late Yanshanian movement,the faults in the area developed and there was a large amount of intermediate-acid magma intrusion,so the metal deposits in this study area have a large prospect of mineralization and prospecting potential.In the process of mineral exploration in this study area,the predecessors used traditional statistical methods to analyze,process and interpret geochemical data of soil and water system sediments,and finally delineated anomalies.Results the abnormal delineation effect is not very good,the abnormal range is not obvious,resulting in a large amount of workload,prospecting effect is also very poor.In this study,box-and-whisker graph and multi-element interlining weighting method were used to process the geochemical data of soil water system sediments in the study area and to delineate anomalies.The method is mainly based on the actual geochemical element data,which does not require the data to meet a specific distribution form,and can retain the content of the original data to the utmost.It determines the abnormal combination through a series of correlation analysis,cluster analysis,factor analysis and the ore-forming geological conditions of the mine,and then performs the abnormal delineation.By comparing this method with the traditional statistical methods(plus two times of the average standard deviation threshold)and three kinds of trend surface method delineated geochemical exploration data processing method of anomaly map,respectively,and the known hall of songshan copper bismuth and silver point and kerosene groove of bismuth copper polymetallic point sets comparison found that box must figure-multielement contrast weighting method in two known mines tagged abnormal characteristics is more apparent than other two methods,the concentration of belt cover and more explicit,especially the kerosene ditch copper bismuth polymetallic point located in strong heart,which indicates this method has a certain guiding significance in the prospecting and exploration work of copper polymetallic deposits in this area.
