Forming Characteristics Of Lithologic Reservoirs In Lixian Slope

The attitude of slope in Li county,Raoyang depression is gentle and the structural traps here are not well developed.Since the probability of discovering structural oil reservoir becomes smaller and smaller,the exploration for structural oil reservoir,at present,becomes more and more difficult in study area.It is therefore vital to carry out exploration of lithologic oil reservoir not only for looking for replacement petroleum exploration domain,but also for sustainable development of oil-gas resources in study area.Furthermore,the study on reservoir forming characteristics of lithologic oil reservoir is of great significance for guiding exploration of Paleogene lithologic oil reservoir in Li county slope.This study,based on previous work,utilized the latest core data,mud-logging data,seismic data,logging data,drilling data,oil-test data and geochemical data to analyze the geology and reservoir characteristics of identified typical lithologic oil reservoir.This study clarified fundamental condition of reservoir forming of Paleogene lithologic oil reservoir in Li county slope,and also explicated that the distribution and development regularity of lithologic oil reservoir in study area is controlled by three dominating factors;that is source rocks?oil-generation grooves and high quality source rocks in Es₁³?,sedimentary facies?reservoir facies belts and sandbody classification?and structures?nose-shaped uplift and fault?.Based on these three primary factors,this study established three kinds of reservoir forming patterns,including slope break reservoir forming pattern,reservoirs along dip direction forming pattern in slope area,spatial association of faults and sand bodies reservoir forming pattern in nose structure development area.The research results are significant for deepening cognition about the reservoir forming characteristics of lithologic oil reservoir in study area and are of great reference value for petroleum exploration direction.
