Wangguantun oilfield is a complex geologic structure fracture zone and its reservoir has a large variation and wide distribution.The reservoir heterogeneity of its major oil-producing zone,ZaoII III groups is very serious as well as the contradiction between the injection and production wells.For this reason,this paper using the ZaoII III groups of the first member of Kongdian formation as the study objects,conduct the stratigraphic correlation,analyze the provenance system and the sedimentary facies,evaluate the reservoir comprehensively,then analyze the influence of deposition on the reservoir quality and ascertain the relation between capacity and reservoir quality,so as to provide support for predicting the distribution of the reservoir which has high quality and adjusting the development plan.The results show that the provenance of ZaoII III groups in the research area is from NW Shenvsi alluvial fan of Cangxian uplift and Wangtuantun alluvial fan of Xuhei uplift.The ZaoII III groups is characteristic of braided river deposit which develop in middle alluvial fan.The reservoir has medium-low porosity and medium-low permeability,and the main pore type is primary pores,and its pore-throat structure is medium-small scale,besides the heterogeneity of reservoir is serious.Deposition has a control effect on the quality and the distribution of the reservoir.The reservoir of Guan80 fault block and Wang23-Wang27 fault block can be classified into four types.The first and second class reservoirs of best physical properties are distributed in mid-channel bar facies and braided channel facies.The third class reservoirs are distributed in the edge of braided channel facies.The fouth class reservoirs are distributed in the edge of braided channel facies and interchannel facies.The capacity of the first class reservoirs is higher than that of the other class reserviors.This paper has ascertained the relationship between capacity and the reservoir quality.The quality of the reservoir which drilled by high-yield wells is superior to that by medium producing wells and low producing or stripper wells.
