Research On Grey Clustering Model Based On Interval Grey Number And Its Application

With the rapid development of economy and society,complex systems with small data and poor information emerge in an endless stream.Based on the practical problems,the grey clustering model for interval grey numbers is studied in this paper.First,the operation of the degree of greyness for interval grey numbers is discussed,and the existing grey number arithmetic is supplemented and perfected.Then,the grey clustering model for interval grey numbers based on "kernel" and the degree of greyness is constructed.At last,the interval grey clustering model is used to evaluate the core competencies of high tech enterprises in Nanjing City.Main tasks are as following:(1)The algorithm of the degree of greyness for interval grey numbers is investigated.Based on the opinion that the operation of field of discourse should be done to generate a new one during the interval grey number operation process,the specific expressions for algebraic operations of the degree of greyness are investigated.Then,the algorithm of interval grey numbers which based on the“kernel” and the degree of greyness of grey numbers is revised,so as to improve the accuracy of the operation results.At last,a case of multiple attribute decision making is provided to reflect the practicality of the improved algorithm.(2)The traditional grey clustering model based on the real numbers is extended to the condition in which the observation values and the turning points of the possibility function are the interval grey numbers.By representing the interval grey number based on "kernel" and the degree of greyness,the interval grey number operation is transformed into real number operation.Then,the expressions of possibility function with interval grey number are given,and solved by the improved algorithm of interval grey numbers.At last,the grey fixed-weight clustering model based on "kernel" and the degree of greyness is established,which extends the applied range of the grey clustering model.(3)The core competencies of high-tech enterprises in Nanjing City are evaluated by the grey clustering model for interval grey numbers.By analyzing the connotation and elements of the core competitiveness of high-tech enterprises,the evaluation index system of core competencies is constructed.Then the enterprise data are obtained by means of the field survey and expert consultation.Finally,the grey clustering model for interval grey numbers is used to appraise it.The result indicates the model is effective and reasonable.
