With the increase of fiber laser and the improvement of its performance,the application field of the laser is expanding,and the stability,security and maintainability of the fiber laser are also increased.The stability of the output light power of the laser is the main basis for judging the performance of the photoelectric equipment.Therefore,it is important to study a real-time monitoring system for output power of fiber lasers,which is of great significance for improving the stability and security of fiber laser devices.According to professional classification,the main research is determined as the optical part of optical power monitoring system.The laser resonator is used as the dividing line.The laser is divided into three parts,which are the resonant cavity and the resonant cavity forward to the harmonic cavity.The characteristics and relations of laser transmission in the three regions are studied respectively.Firstly,the theory and state of laser oscillation and the theory of power transmission in optical fiber are studied theoretically,and the power detection point that can reflect the output power of the laser is found and determined.Secondly,according to the theoretical analysis,the detection point of the pump fiber,the detection point of the signal fiber,the peeling point of the pump light,and the anti reflection isolation point are four.The detection points,the detection points of each detection point are designed and tested respectively,the feasibility of the detection scheme is analyzed.Again,the test laser and the detection circuit are set up,the test experiments are carried out in the laboratory conditions and working conditions respectively,and the related data are recorded,and the test results are summarized and analyzed at the end.The opinions,suggestions and conclusions that are conducive to the development of fiber laser power monitoring system are put forward.Analysis results shows that the four detection schemes can meet the needs of power detection,and each has some advantages and disadvantages.First,the response curve of the pump detection point detection scheme has the same slope in the laboratory conditions and processing conditions,indicating that the scheme is not easily affected by the environment and processing materials,and has the best stability in the four schemes.Second,the signal detection point detection scheme can maintain good linearity in normal state,and the detector will respond to the abnormal state in the process of processing,and can cooperate with the warning program to give full play to the alarm function.Third,the detection accuracy of the pump light peeling point is the highest.Even if the processing process fails,it can reflect the output power of the laser correctly.Fourth,the anti reflection isolation point detection scheme is similar to the signal optical fiber detection point scheme,which will make a significant response to any abnormal state during the processing.Therefore,the relative power detection function is more suitable for the auxiliary detection and early warning means to improve the safety of the laser.In addition,the reflected laser power distribution in each part of the laser system is simulated under the influence of reflected light.It provides valuable experimental data for the design of optimization and compensation subsystem in the real-time monitoring system of laser,and lays the experimental foundation for the future industrialization application.The application of optical fiber laser power monitoring system in the field of optical fiber laser failure mode analysis is introduced and demonstrated.The fault model analysis theory of fiber laser is established by using fault tree model and fault mode influence and hazard analysis method with Bayesian network optimization analysis method.The failure mode and cause analysis software of trial version is set up in Python programming language,and the use of software is demonstrated in practice.
