The inverse obstacle scattering problem is to determine the shape of an obstacle from the knowledge of the far field pattern for the scattering of incident time-harmonic acoustic waves.It has many applications in various regions.The inverse problem is difficult as since it’s nonlinear and improperly posed.In the paper,we use boundary integral method and Newton method to solve the inverse problem iteratively.In its discrete case,we get the approximate numerical solution by least squares method with regularization.In addition,we describe the Green’s identity method for computation of singular Helmholtz-like integrals.
