Neurological complication is a common phenomenon of cardiovascular surgery,which is not only main reasons of death and disability,but also can bring patients and their families a heavy economic and mental burden.The cause of neurological complications is closely related to various embolisms,including air bubbles,anesthetic gas,fat debris,plaque of lesion area and so on.How to effectively reduce embolism during minimally invasive cardiovascular surgery has become a very important problem.There are three kinds of mechanical shielding equipment,mainly including balloon occlusion device,filter device and catheter occlusion device.Although these mechanical devices can block micro to a certain extent,doctors fail to get an agreement that the mechanical device can reduce the probability of neurological complications.In addition,the mechanical block devices need to enter the body,and they are very inconvenient and expensive.More seriously,it may produce additional micro during the procedure.For these reasons,those mechanical devices cannot be used widely in cardiovascular surgery.Shielding embolism using the radiation force produced by focus ultrasound with phased array is a new idea in recent years,and the clinical study has shown that this type of device has an effect.Based on the research idea,this paper has developed a suit of phased ultrasound device,suitable for minimally invasive cardiac surgery.Focus ultrasound with phased array can form a focus with multi-array in the carotid artery.The ultrasound device consists of a hardware system and a PC control software system.The ultrasonic generator,which is designed based on FPGA,can well realize multi-channel signal output and can also produce some different focus.Software system,which is developed based on Qt development suit,can well realize the control of the FPGA development board,providing users with a good interface.Experimental results show that the method proposed in this paper is feasible.
