The aerodynamic design of airfoil plays an important role in the aircraft,which determines the aerodynamic efficiency of the whole aircraft.In this paper,a special aerodynamic arrangement of the propeller of the aircraft is studied,and a special aerodynamic configuration of the propeller with Gurney flaps is designed,and the aerodynamic characteristics of the propeller are studied experimentally.This paper mainly studies the installation of Gurney flaps at the trailing edge of the lower surface of the airfoil,and further analyzes the influence of the height variation of the Gurney flap on the aerodynamic efficiency of the airfoil.The experimental model was simulated and analyzed.At the same time,the physical model was made to carry out the wind tunnel blowing experiment.The experimental results were further compared and analyzed.The influence of Gurney flap on the aerodynamic characteristics of single blade and propeller was studied.It can be concluded that Gurney was installed.The change in the aerodynamic characteristics of the propeller behind the flap.The stages of this study are mainly the following:1.Establishment of two-dimensional airfoil model with Gurney flapsA two-dimensional model for installing different heights of Gurney flaps on the Rear Edge of Airfoil.The effects of Mach number and Reynolds number(Low Reynolds number)on the aerodynamic characteristics of the Gurney flaps are studied.2.Physical Aerodynamic Analysis of Airfoils with Gurney FlapsThe single blade wing of the propeller is modeled as a physical model.Wind tunnel tests are carried out on the two kinds of wings with and without Gurney flaps,respectively.The aerodynamic performance parameters are obtained,and then the two kinds of wings are compared and analyzed.After the analysis,the height of the Gurney flaps installed on the propeller is analyzed and selected.3.Three-dimensional Modeling and Aerodynamic Simulation Analysis of Propeller with Gurney Flaps.In order to verify the aerodynamic efficiency of the propeller with Gurney flaps studied in this paper,a three-dimensional model is established to simulate and analyze the aerodynamic performance of the propeller with CFD.and the aerodynamic characteristic parameters are obtained.4.Wind Tunnel Experimental Study and Analysis of Propeller Model with Gurney Flaps.Wind tunnel tests were carried out on propellers with and without Gurney flaps.The static pull force of propeller and the pull aerodynamic characteristic parameters of propeller under different forward velocities are obtained and compared.Through this study,it is found that the propeller with Gurney flaps has better aerodynamic characteristics than the ordinary propeller with the same airfoil.Therefore,it is feasible to install Gurney flaps to improve the aerodynamic performance of the propeller,and it can provide experimental data for the future research and development of the propeller,and it is feasible to study it.
