In recent years,with the development of marine military equipment,radar has been more and more widely used in marine monitoring and early warning,the detection of sea targets has become a hot topic in radar research.However,due to the complexity of sea clutter statistical background and the variability of sea environment,the design and selection of target detector in sea clutter background become very difficult.How to improve the detection probability of detector and maintain a certain false alarm probability is the main problem of target detection.This paper mainly compares the detection performance of different CFAR detectors under sea clutter background.Firstly,several statistical characteristics of sea clutter are studied in this paper.The common distribution of sea clutter characteristics such as Rayleigh distribution,lognormal distribution,Weibull distribution and K distribution are analyzed in detail.the properties,application range and conditions of the above clutter distribution model are analyzed.At the same time,the correlation and power spectrum of sea clutter are analyzed.The simulation and Simulation of sea clutter is the basis of comparing the performance of target detection methods,which is particularly important in target detection.So this paper analyses two simulation methods commonly used in radar clutter simulation,i.e.SIRP and ZMNL.At the same time,K clutter is simulated to generate K-distributed clutter sequence.Three kinds of mean-class CFAR detection algorithms are studied,including CA-CFAR,GOCA-CFAR and SOCA-CFAR.For the Ordered Statistics CFAR algorithm,the Ordered Statistics CFAR(OS-CFAR)algorithm is studied and compared with the Mean CFAR detector.In this paper,the CFAR detection algorithms mentioned above are analyzed and compared in detail.The performance differences of different CFAR detection algorithms in clutter edge and target background are compared,and the clutter environments applicable to different algorithms are summarized.In the case of non-Rayleigh distribution of clutter,target detection method under K distribution is introduced.Finally,the target is detected by the measured data,and the correctness of the detector is verified.
