The time domain generalized transmission matrix(TD-GTM)is a kind of domain decomposition method based on the Huygens equivalence principle. In this method, each module is enclosed by a closed reference surface, which is much more regular in geometry. After the reference surface is discretized with triangular mesh, proper basis functions are defined on the surface.Using the marching on in time scheme(MOT),the relationships between the equivalent currents and the rotated tangential components of incident field on the reference surface can be obtained. These relationships can be described by a series of matrixes, which are defined as TD-GTM.The TD-GTM describes the time domain scattering properties of the enclosed object, which is not affected by the surrounding medium parameters as well as the incident filed outside the reference surface. After the TD-GTM is obtained, the scattering fields can be calculated fast given an arbitrary incident field.TD-GTM can effectively reduce the memory and computation costs of the original MOT system, especially for periodic arrays. This thesis is focused on the software and interface designing for the TD-GTM method,as well as the corresponding mesh optimization techniques. The scheme of electromagnetic simulation software is proposed.According to the features of electromagnetic simulation, the software has been divided to three parts: pre-calculation part, calculation part and post-processing part.We can get the mesh information in the pre-calculation part and use the calculation part to do simulation. The post-calculation part is responsible for analyzing the results and plotting the data. This software is based on MFC(Microsoft Foundation Classes)which are packaged very well. Many technologies which are related with multithreading, file systems, software embedding and software connections have been introduced in this paper.
