With the development of urban construction,the heat island effect has gradually intensified,and the increase in the amount of outdoor activities has made the requirements for the comfort of garden space increasingly demanding.The landscape wall is a common landscape piece in the garden space,carrying a variety of functions,is a landscape element that cannot be ignored.The landscape wall affects the comfort of the human body by changing the natural factors affecting the local spatial microclimate.At present,the research on the landscape wall mostly focuses on its artistic shape and cultural connotation,and lacks quantitative research on the impact of the wall on the surrounding environment.This paper combines CFD and thermal comfort evaluation model,and uses PHOENICS software to simulate the influence of different heights,lengths,layouts,materials and hollow forms of the wall on the microclimate and thermal comfort of the surrounding environment of the wall,and to define the microclimate and thermal comfort around the wall.It also reveals its influence on microclimate and thermal comfort,provides theoretical guidance for the design of landscape wall in garden space,and provides useful reference for the study of the influence of other garden design elements on microclimate and thermal comfort.The research draws the following conclusions:(1)The higher the height of the wall and the longer the length,the larger the spatial extent of the impact,the more obvious the wind speed in the garden space is reduced,and the temperature and UTCI increase more obviously.The shorter the height of the wall and the shorter the length,the better the thermal comfort of the summer garden space.(2)The larger the angle between the wall and the wind direction,the more obvious the wind speed in the garden space is reduced,and the temperature and UTCI increase more obviously.The smaller the angle between the wall and the wind direction,the better the thermal comfort of the summer garden space.(3)The change of the material of the wall has little effect on the wind speed of the garden space.The influence on the temperature of the garden space is mainly reflected in the thermal conductivity,blackness and solar absorption coefficient of the material.The temperature of the space in which the wooden wall is located is the highest,followed by They are brick walls,concrete walls,stone walls,and the steel walls are at the lowest temperature.The space in which the wooden wall is located has the highest UTCI value,followed by the brick wall,the concrete wall,and the steel wall.The space in which the stone wall is located has the lowest UTCI value.The summer garden space where the stone wall is located has the best thermal comfort.(4)Different hollow wall forms will increase the wind speed of the garden space,reduce the temperature and UTCI of the garden space,and have different laws in different ranges and heights.In general,under different ranges and heights,the UTCI value of the space where the dense wall is located is the highest,and the UTCI value of the space where other hollow forms of the wall are located is similar.(5)The change of wind speed in the garden space will cause the temperature to change.The higher the wind speed,the lower the temperature.The combined changes in wind speed and temperature affect the UTCI value of the garden space.
