Material composition analysis is one of the core tasks in deep space exploration.Detecting the element content and distribution in the surface of planet have great scientific significance to study the formation,evolution and mineral resources in the surface of planet.Micro area,high precision and high sensitivity spectral analysis technology is the core technology in deep space exploration.Due to the particularity of planet environment,Micro-LIBS have advantages of situ,micro area and highresolution compared with other spectrum detection technologies.Micro-LIBS can draw three-dimensional distribution of target element.Micro-LIBS has great application prospect in deep space exploration.In order to improve spatial resolution,detection sensitivity and material composition analysis ability of the Micro-LIBS system,this paper introduce the development of the experimental system,the optimization of experimental parameters,the research of data preprocessing methods,and Micro-LIBS experiment under the simulated planetary environment.This paper provides the research foundation and technical foundation for the development of Chinese deep space exploration.Firstly,this paper expounds the research background and scientific significance of Micro-LIBS,summarizes the application of existing material analysis technology in deep space exploration and their advantages and disadvantages,and introduces the advantages,physical principles and research progress of Micro-LIBS in detail.This paper study the influence of experimental parameters,such as pulse laser frequency,delay time,position of sample,and objective lens multiple,and obtain the optimal experimental parameters: pulse laser frequency 40 Hz,delay time 1000 ns,sample position-20?m,objective lens multiple 20.Based on the Micro-LIBS experimental system and the optimal experimental parameters,we study the preprocessing methods of Micro-LIBS data firstly,including filter abnormal data,average processing,remove background noise,normalize data,and smooth.Based on the data preprocessing methods,we prepared a number of standard samples to study the quantitative experiments based on traditional calibration method,multiple linear regression method and free calibration method.The results show that the error of multivariate linear regression method is smaller and the prediction accuracy is 92.9%.Based on the quantitative experiments,we study the regional distribution of calcium in ammonite.In this paper,we designed Micro-LIBS experiment under the simulated Mars environment to compare the Micro-LIBS signals under the earth environment and simulated Mars environment.This experiment verified the feasibility of Micro-LIBS under simulated Mars environment,and revealed the relationship between Micro-LIBS signal and environmental pressure.
