The pipe vibrates seriously during operation which may lead to the damage on the pipe. The ocean mining pipe usually suffers the complex sea load caused by the unpredictable ocean climate which would increase the risk of leakage. The oil and gas spill is the accident during the exploitation, which would cause operator endangered, economic loss and marine environmental damage. The study on the oscillation phenomena of the leaking pipe has certain help on the control of the spill. In this thesis, the internal flow induced vibration of the leaking pipe is analyzed and structured as follows:1.Since the different properties of compressible fluid and incompressible fluid, the spilling models are derived respectively, which are combined with the internal oscillation pipe model by using energy method;2.Using qualitative analysis method(argand digram, phase diagram and PSD plot)to analyze the leaking effect on the pipe vibration;3.The mathematical model is discretized by using Galerkin method and simulated by using Newton-Raphson method, which consider different internal velocities and leaking locations;4.The numerical results are discussed by choosing different internal velocities and leaking locations is analyzed, which present buckling phenomenon at large internal velocity and some leaking locations.
