Selective Laser Melting(SLM),as a kind of additive manufacturing technology,is widely used in automobile manufacturing,aerospace and other fields because it can directly produce metal workpieces with high density,high precision and similar properties to the forged ones.The research on selective laser melt processing parameters is mostly based on the continuous laser mode of operation,while pulse laser has the advantages of easy input control and short laser action time,which makes it have certain advantages in selective laser melting process,and has become a hot spot of current research.In this paper,the relationship between the laser parameters in the pulse mode is analyzed by measuring the actual laser output power corresponding to the laser set power under different pulse action times.By controlling the scanning rate and selecting the appropriate point distance,the effects of processing parameters on the forming single melting point and single melting track were studied under different pulse action times and laser output power,and important basic data were accumulated for forming multilayer solid workpieces.The influence of the unique processing parameters of pulsed laser on the quality of multi-layer solid workpiece is analyzed.The variation of the surface temperature of the workpiece under different pulse action time is studied,and the pulse processing parameters are optimized.The influence of other parameters such as laser switching light delay on the quality of the formed workpiece was discussed.The results show that in pulse mode,the laser set power is not always equal to the actual output power of the laser,and the peak pulse power cannot exceed the maximum power in the continuous output mode;When the same energy is input,the longer the pulse action time,the wider the single melting point and the single melting track width,and the more obvious the heat affected zone generated around the forming track;in the forming process,we should not only pay attention to the input energy,but also consider the impact of pulse action time;The pulse action time is reduced,it is beneficial to improve the surface quality of thin-walled workpieces,which is beneficial to reduce the heat accumulation generated when forming solid workpieces.
