This series of copper-rich mines are distributed in Jiulong County,western Sichuan.These copper-rich deposits are called “Liwu-type copper-rich deposits” because they have the same genesis.The Liwu ore field includes Zhongzui,Hei Niudong,Liwu and Sunyelin and so forth.A large number of studies have been carried out on these deposits,including genetic models,the source of the material and the host strata.After several decades of exploration,the Liwu ore field had preserved a large number of engineering controlled boreholes sample data,but the previous studies have not been systematically studied.This paper relies on the “deep exploration technology of the base mineralization system of the important mineral resources of the Tibet Plateau”.On the basis of previous studies,the system summarizes the mineralization characteristics of the Liwu ore field,discusses the metallogenic process,and further determines the genesis of the deposit,providing a geological basis for the next prospecting.(1)Based on the previous research data,through the geological characteristics of the various deposits in the Liwu ore field,the paper concluded that the ore structures of the Liwu ore deposits are relatively uniform,including dense block structures,agglomerate structures and vein-nets,Veinous structure,strip shape and disseminated structure.The ore structure evolves from the center of the ore body to the periphery: dense block-vein-agglomerate-stripe-disseminated which showing the characteristics of hydrothermal filling deposits.The surrounding rock alterations of various deposits in the Liwu ore field are strongly developed,including the early and late stages.The early alterations were mainly black mica,silicification,tourmalinization and feldspathization.Late alterations include sericitization,chlorite,and so on.Late alteration is closely related to mineralization.(2)The results of the enveloping front surface of the mineralization front indicate that the southern part of the Liwu ore field has the highest initial value of the ore,and the north is lower which indicates that the hydrothermal activity is stronger in the south than in the north,and the combined regional geological features indicate that the hydrothermal activity center maybe located in the southern part of the ore field.The study of mineralization uniformity indicates that the mineralization uniformity in the southern part of the Riwu orefield is higher than that in the northern region.The mineralization uniformity distribution of the ore field scale is more complicated,indicating that the multi-stage hydrothermal activity in the ore-forming process is distributed by thehe impact of complexity.The study of mineralization enrichment shows that the mineralization in the southern part of the Liwu ore field is more concentrated,and the complexity of mineralization distribution indicates that there are many stages of hydrothermal activity in the ore field.The center of hydrothermal activity may be more biased towards the southern part of the ore field.(3)The study of mineralization combined plane and profile shows that there are many mineralization combinations in the southern part of the Liwu ore field,and the number of mineralization combinations is more.The distribution of mineralization in the north is more uneven,and the distribution of mineralization in the area is not uniform,indicating multiple stages.(4)Based on the previous research and drilling data,this paper considers that the Liwu ore field is a hydrothermal filling deposit closely related to magmatic activity.The activity center of ore-bearing hydrothermal fluid is located in the southern part of the ore field,and the mineralization is affected by multiple impact of liquid activity.The periphery and deep of the Liwu ore field have good expooration prospecting,and mineralization alterations closely related to mineralization are important prospecting indicators.
