Aiming at the current decline of Salix psammophila shrubs in Mu us sandy land,an ecological flat stumping method was designed to maintain the sustainable characteristics of cluster structure. The wind field structure and windbreak benefit of Salix psammophila Shrubs under different flat stubble methods were studied through field observation and indoor wind tunnel experiments, which provided theoretical guidance for the future ecological flat stumping of Salix psammophila in Mu us sandy land. The experiment set six flat stumping intensities(0?,0.2?,0.4?,0.6?,0.8?,0.8?,0.0?,0 is shrub canopy diameter)and three flat stubble modes(model A:stump from the shrub windward face to leeward according to the flat stumping intensity along the direction, model B:stump on both sides of the shrub at the same time according to the flat stump intensity along the direction, model C:stump on both sides of the shrub at the same time from the shrub's middle 1/2 faults according to the flat stump intensity along the direction the same below). In order to maintain the sustainable existence of shrub structure, the relationship between the morphological parameters of shrub retained structure and windbreak benefit was analyzed, and the optimal stumping method was selected. The results showed that the shrub morphological parameters and windbreak benefit indices of model A and B did not change significantly in the range of 0-0.4?of flat stumping intensity, but the windbreak benefit of model B was better than that of model A;while the windbreak benefit of model B was better than that of model A;and the windbreak distance of leeward side decreased significantly under the three flat stubble modes, and the windbreak benefit was significantly different from that of original shrub. The intensity of model B was 0.4? as windbreak. The critical point of sudden change in wind benefit.Permeability is the most important morphological parameter affecting windbreak benefit. The reasonable method of stumping flattening was as follows:Salix psammophila shrubs were stumping in mode B,and the stumping intensity was 0.4?.
