In this paper,the hydrophobic properties of zinc films were modified by stearic acid impregnation method.The ZnO films were prepared by hydrothermal method and sol-gel method,and the samples were characterized by XRD,FT-IR,SEM,TEM and water contact angle.The Vibrio parahaemolyticus and Shewanella putrefaciens were used as model bacterium,the biofilm were cultivated by slice method.The biofilm were characterized by the adhesion rate,the number of viable bacteria,the morphology,the EPS and so on.The effect of the micro-morphologies and hydrophobic properties of the films on its antibiofilm activities were studied.1.The hydrophobic properties of the zinc films are improved by stearic acid impregnation method.The hydrophobic properties of the zinc films are improved with the extending of immersion time,and the growth rate of Vibrio parahaemolyticus biofilm were slower,the number of live bacteria of biofilm were less.High hydrophobic properties of material surface can inhibit the formation of Vibrio parahaemolyticus bioflims.2.ZnO films were prepared on aluminum substrate by hydrothermal method and the films were treated by hydrophobic methods,the results show that the samples are hexagonal phase of ZnO,the aluminum sheet is involved in the synthesis of hydrothermal method,the ZnO films are linked to aluminum with chemical bonds.The needle-like features with microstructure on the surfaces created the "Lotus Effect" resulting in the increased contact angles.The ZnO films with nanoneedle structure are more hydrophobic than those equipped with microflakes.There is no significant difference between the samples on the adhesion rate,but the nanoneedle structure destroy the the cell membrane and inhibit the growth of bacteria,so its antibiofilm properties is the best.3.ZnO films were prepared on stainless steel by hydrothermal and sol-gel methods and the films were treated to obtain hydrophobic property.The results show that the samples are hexagonal phase of ZnO.The ZnO films with nanorod structure are more hydrophobic than those equipped with nanoparticles.The biofilm adhesion rate of ZnO films with nanorod structure is the lowest,the nanorod structure destroy the integrity of the cell membrane and inhibit the growth of bacteria,so its antibiofilm properties is the optimal.
