Vietnam is one of the most biologically diverse country in Southeast Asia.Its unique geographical location and climatic conditions indicate that Vietnam is also one of the areas with diversity of Cordyceps,so on the large-scale,Cordyceps resources have been developed in Vietnam investigation and in-depth basic research are imminent.Cordycipitaceae is a multi-lineage family with abundant morphological characteristics and host diversity.Kepler et al.made a more complete revision of the section,but the location of some genera remains undetermined,and the relationship between the species is still unclear,and further sampling and research is needed.In this study,the species of Cordycipitaceae collected from Vietnam for many years were studied,and the species were identified and classified by morphology and phylogeny,using ribosomal large subunit nrLSU,ribosomal small subunit nrSSU,elongation factor la,RNA polymerase ? maximal and second largest subunit rpbl and rpb2.This study reconstructed the phylogenetic framework of Cordycipitaceae by combining the results of previous studies,and revised the categorized groups of Cordycipitaceae with uncertain taxonomic position or incorrect taxonomic treatment.Found 3 known species,3 new recorded species,and 14 draft new species.In addition,it is recommended to revise the classification of Lecanicillium and Torrubiella.Based on phylogenetic structure and unique morphological characteristics,suggests establishing two new genus in Cordycipitaceae to the new species.The main results are as follows:This study describes 20 species,belonging to 9 genera,based on phylogenetic structure and unique morphological characteristics,two new genera Pseudoascopolyporus H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan,gen.nov.and Unicornicordyceps H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan,gen.nov.of Cordycipitaceae were suggested to be established to Pseudoascopolyporus aranearus H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.nov.and Unicornicordyceps cicadellidae H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.nov.In addition,through phylogenetic analysis,we found that Lecanicillium and Torrubiella multi-lineage origin,and further sampling studies are needed to solve their attribution problems.Describes three known species of Cordyceps:Cordyceps militaris,Cordyceps pruinosa and Cordyceps javanica;Three new records in Vietnam,including 2 species of Cordyceps:Cordyceps blackwelliae and Cordyceps albocitrinus;One species of Beauveria,Beauveria malawiensis.14 draft new species were discovered in this study:1 Cordyceps,Cordyceps polystromata H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.nov.;3 Samsoniella,Samsoniella sapaensis H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.nov.,S.farinospora H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.nov.and S.subaurantia H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.nov.;1 Akanthomyces,Akanthomyces laciniatus H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.nov.;1 Gibellula,Gibellula bidoupensis H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.nov.;1 Hevansia,Hevansia fusiformis H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.nov.;2 Simplicillium,Simplicillium cylindrosporum H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.nov.and S.pumatense H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.nov.;2 Lecanicillium,Lecanicillium didymum H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.nov.and L.chuyangsinense H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.nov.;1 Blackwellomyces,Blackwellomyces dimorphicus H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.Nov.;1 Pseudoascopolyporus,Pseudoascopolyporus aranearus H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.nov.;1 Unicornicordyceps,Unicornicordyceps cicadellidae H.Yu,Y.B.Wang,D.E.Duan sp.nov.
