Application Of NMR Logging In Watered-out Layer Evaluation

Based on the theory of NMR logging and combined with the regional geological characteristics of XX oilfield,this paper conducted NMR logging for nearly a hundred Wells in different regions and different reservoirs in the exploration and development process of this oilfield.Using the original log data of NMR logging in XX oilfield,NMR experiment,oil test experiment,oil-water analysis and other data.Several NMR logging instruments commonly used in China are investigated,including schlumberger's CMR,cmr-plus,atlas' s MREx,and halliburton's MRIL p-type NMR.The integrated nuclear magnetic resonance log data processing system(HERS1.5)was used to process and analyze the nuclear magnetic data.The application of NMR logging in reservoir fluid evaluation and water flooded zone evaluation is studied.First,nuclear magnetic data processing.Logging data can be directly related to the quality of logging interpretation result is good or bad,through the integration of nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)logging data processing system(HERS1.5)for XX oilfield nuclear magnetic logging data processing of the original data and evaluate the quality of the raw data that nuclear magnetic logging and analyzes factors influencing the quality of logging data,the analysis results of logging evaluation of the domestic mainstream nuclear magnetic instruments the applicability of the problems in this area.Second,NMR logging reservoir fluid identification.Based on the NMR logging data of XX oilfield,the response characteristics of reservoir fluid in NMR logging in this area are studied in block and stratified system.The response characteristics of light oil,medium viscosity oil,heavy oil and natural gas in NMR logging and the NMR response of carbonate reservoir are studied.Thirdly,an NMR logging watered-out layer evaluation method suitable for this area is established.On the basis of studying the response characteristics of NMR logging in different fluids,the application of NMR logging in watered-out layer evaluation is further explored.According to the response characteristics of water-flooded layers in NMR logging,different water-flooded grades(low water flooded,high water flooded,water layer)and the NMR t2-spectrum water-flooded process chart were established.The evaluation method of NMR logging watered-out zone is summarized.
