This article selects the Habutaga silver polymetallic deposit in Jarud Banner,Inner Mongolia as the research area to study on the geological characteristics of silver-lead-zinc deposit,and discuss the mineral genesis,ore-controlling factors and criteria for ore-prospecting,through systematic geological prospecting and comprehensive data analysis.Based on this,this paper explores the significance of prospecting in this area and its adjacent areas.The research area is located in the northwest of Bayaltuhushu Town,Jarud Banner,sitting on the east slope of the middle part of Greater Khingan Range,which is located in the Huanggangliang-Ulanhot Fe?Sn?,Cu,Pb,Zn and Ag Metallogenic Belts and Dundehamar-Yinmushendaba Au,Ag,Cu and Mo prospecting area.The main strata in the area are Mesozoic volcanic rocks:the Upper Jurassic Baiyingaolao Formation?J3b?and the Manitu Formation?J3mn?,which have experienced the superposition of multiple tectonic activities and the intrusion of the Yanshanian intermediate acid rock mass,providing good geological background conditions for the migration,accumulation and storage of ore-forming hydrothermal fluids.Through a series of field surveys such as geological mapping,geophysical and geochemical exploration,trenching,drilling and so on,fourteen alteration zones,two 10,000high-precision magnetic anomalies,five 1:10,000 IP anomalies and four 1:25,000geochemical anomalies are found in the research area.Among which,the range of SBII alteration zone and AP1 geochemical anomaly,DHJ-1 IP anomaly matches well,the Ag,Pb,Zn geochemical anomaly is significant,and the IP anomaly is abnormal,so this paper selects SBII alteration zone as the key working area of this study.After trenching and drilling,four mineralized zones were discovered,including three concealed ore belts,nine concealed ore bodies,and ten lead-zinc-silver ore bodies that are above industrial grade.The highest grade among all samples is:Pb:13.7%,Zn:9.01%,Ag:2782 g/t.The overall trend of the ore belt is in the southwest,with a dip angle of 60°-80°.The ore body is mainly in the shape of vein-like and layered,and is mainly controlled by structural fractures.It is preliminary believed that the geophysical and geochemical anomalies in the SBII alteration zone are mineral-induced anomalies.Through comprehensive analysis of the results,it is judged that the deposit type of the research area is the post-magmatic medium-low temperature hydrothermal-fracture-filled deposit,the minerals are Ag,Pb,Zn polymetallic ore,and the ore-bearing surrounding rock is the middle part of the Baiyingaolao Formation?J3b2?acidic volcanic rocks such as gray-white rhyolite cuttings and crystal fragments tuff,rhyolite tuff and on on,and metallogenesis is closely related to the medium-acid magmatic rock,and is strictly distributed according to the tectonic belt.Finally the paper summaries prospecting criteria of the deposit from six aspects which are stratum,structure,magmatic rock,hydrothermal alteration,metal sulfide,geophysics and geochemistry,providing basis for further study of the research area and prospecting orientation for hydrothermal polymetallic deposit.
